Week 2

I found links that relate to vocoder and autotune code in both Supercollider and ChucK. I will spend this week gathering more information and changing different parameters within the code.

Week 1

For my initial project idea, I want to try to create a vocoder that can make a voice sound like different instruments.  In a cappella, instrument sounds are often replicated through consonants and vowels that a note is sung on, so I want to try to make a way for voices to sound even more like different instruments.

Example:

Although this song does not use vocoder in the way I was thinking about attempting, it does something similar with having the vocoder be the only “instrumental” part of the song
